Support
Waiver is a fantasy football app operated by RIGHT AT HOME ENT INC. Its home on the web is waiver.games. The same service was released earlier on the web under the name Hard Knocks Fantasy. That name is retired, but it still appears on the address league invitation emails are sent from. Waiver and Hard Knocks Fantasy are one service run by one operator.
Waiver and RIGHT AT HOME ENT INC are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Football League (NFL), any NFL team, the NCAA, or any college, university or athletic conference. Player names, team names and statistics are factual data from third-party sources, used for identification and descriptive purposes only. All marks belong to their respective owners. If you are looking for official NFL or NCAA products or support, this is not them.
What Waiver is
Season-long fantasy football with your friends. Start a league, invite the group chat, draft your team, set your lineup every week and play head-to-head all season — for NFL or for college football.
It is free to play. There are no entry fees, no prize pools and no wagering. The only thing you can pay for is the optional AI GM assistant.
Getting started
- Create a league. Give it a name, name your own team, pick how many teams are in it, and choose NFL or college football. Choose "with friends" to leave seats open for real people, or "solo vs computer" to fill every other seat with a bot.
- Invite your people. Share your league's invite code or invite link, or send an invitation straight to someone's email address. They sign in, enter a team name, and take a seat.
- Set the draft time and draft. The commissioner picks a date and time. When it starts, the draft order is drawn, everyone gets a clock on their pick, and you build your roster. Queue up the players you want in advance so nothing depends on your thumbs.
- Play the season. Set your lineup each week, work the waiver wire, make trades, and chase the title.
Common questions
How do I invite people to my league?
Two ways, and you can mix them:
Invite code or link. Open your league and find the invite code. Send it to your group chat. Anyone with the code can sign in, enter a team name and claim an open seat.
Invite by email. Type someone's email address and we send them one invitation with a link straight into your league.
Invites expire after a while, and a commissioner can revoke one. If someone says their code stopped working, issue a fresh one.
What if someone misses the draft?
Nobody ends up with an empty roster. If a manager's clock runs out, the app makes the pick for them — from their queue if they set one up, and otherwise the best available player for the position they still need. Those picks are marked as automatic so everyone can see what happened.
If a seat is still empty when the draft starts, the commissioner's setting decides: either a computer manager takes the seat and drafts a full team, or the league shrinks so the draft runs with the managers who actually showed up.
The best insurance is a queue. Anyone who might be busy should line up ten or fifteen players beforehand.
Does this work for college football?
Yes. When you create a league, choose College Football instead of NFL and you draft from a pool of college players instead of pro players. Everything else works the same way — the same draft room, the same scoring settings, the same season.
One difference worth knowing: a college fantasy season's playoffs are the last three weeks, so the week labels in a college league are not identical to an NFL league's.
Each league is one sport or the other. If you want both, create two leagues.
What do I actually get for paying, and what stays free?
Leagues, invites, drafts, rosters, waivers, trades, matchups and the full season are free. There is no team limit and no league limit behind a paywall.
The AI GM assistant is the only paid feature. It answers questions about your actual team — who to start, whether a trade makes sense, what a player's numbers say. It is $4.99 a month, or $19.99 once for a Season Pass that lasts the rest of the season and never renews.
Cancel anytime, no refunds. On the monthly, cancelling stops future billing and you keep the AI GM to the end of the period you paid for. The Season Pass is a single payment that runs to the end of the season and does not renew.
The AI GM gives opinions and it can be wrong. It is not betting or financial advice.
How do I cancel?
If you subscribed in the iOS app: Apple manages it. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Waiver, then tap Cancel Subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. For a refund on an App Store purchase, use reportaproblem.apple.com — Apple handles those, not us.
If you subscribed on this website: email info@waiver.games from the address on your account and we will cancel it and confirm by reply. Cancel anytime — but purchases made on this website are not refunded. Cancelling stops future billing and you keep the AI GM until the end of the period you already paid for. The Season Pass has nothing to cancel: it is one payment that runs to the end of the season and never renews, and it is not refundable either. Full wording, including the cases where the law requires a refund anyway, is in the Terms of Service.
Season Pass: nothing to cancel. It is a one-time purchase that expires at the end of the season by itself.
Either way, cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.
How do I delete my account?
On the web: open the ⚙ gear on the league screen, choose Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, then press Permanently delete my account. In the iOS app: open the Profile tab, then tap Delete Account. You do not need to email us or ask permission. That deletes your account and the personal data attached to it, permanently — there is no undo.
Read the warning on that screen before you confirm. Deleting removes you from every league and frees your seat, and cancels every invite you sent. If other managers are still there, the longest-serving one who can still sign in becomes commissioner and the league carries on. But a league where you are the last manager who can still sign in is deleted for everyone in it — its draft, its picks, its seats and its invites go with it.
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel that separately in your iPhone Settings, or you will keep being billed.
I restored purchases but the AI GM is still locked.
Check you are signed in to the same Waiver account and the same Apple ID you bought with. Then open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases. If it is still locked after that, email us with the Apple ID email you purchased with and we will sort it.
Someone in my league is being a problem.
League disputes — vetoed trades, collusion arguments, a draft time nobody liked — are for your commissioner. They have the tools to manage the league.
Harassment is different. If someone is using a team name, league name or message to abuse or threaten another person, email info@waiver.games with the league name and what was said. We remove content and close accounts for that.
Still stuck?
Email us. Include your league name and what you were doing when it went wrong.
info@waiver.gamesWe aim to reply within two business days. During draft season we are usually much faster.
